The Basic Life Support - Instructor course is designed for individuals looking to become certified instructors of American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider and Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED courses. Participants will learn how to effectively teach and evaluate students, ensuring they meet AHA standards.
The BLS Instructor course is designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider and Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED courses. Instructor candidates learn how to use AHA Instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow AHA Instructor and course policies.
Prerequisite: Candidates must have a current AHA BLS Provider card. Steps to Complete: 1) BLS Instructor Essentials Online. 2) Attend the 7-hour Classroom Session. Bring your Instructor Manual. 3) Candidate will have a student attend at 3 PM and be monitored teaching. Student received free BLS card
This course results in Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certification.
