Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) – Blended Learning

The HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Course is designed for teens and young adults seeking essential childcare skills. This blended course includes a self-paced online module followed by an in-person skills session covering child supervision, emergency response, and first aid basics. Certification meets industry-recognized safety training standards.

The HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Course (Blended Learning) is ideal for aspiring babysitters who want flexible training while gaining hands-on experience. The course consists of two parts: an online module covering childcare basics, child development, safety practices, and emergency response, followed by an in-person session where students practice hands-on skills such as feeding, diapering, and first aid techniques. The online portion allows students to learn at their own pace, covering key responsibilities and safety protocols. The in-person session, conducted at a training center, reinforces these skills through hands-on activities and instructor feedback. Upon successful completion, participants receive an HSI Child and Babysitting Safety certification, demonstrating their ability to provide responsible and safe childcare.

This course includes Pediatric First Aid and CPR AED for Adults, Children, and Infants. All components are Blended Learning, and have online portions that must be completed prior to the Instructor-Led Skills Session.
